- What the database is used for and which parts are most important
- Roughly how many people use it, and whether anyone works remotely
- Which version of Access and Microsoft 365 you’re on, if you know
- Where the database file is stored
- The problems you’re seeing, including any exact error messages or screenshots
- Any deadlines, such as a staff departure, an audit, or a system change
